Smirnoff's Be There Quebec


Smirnoff is one of the most heavy hitting companies in the social media space. They’ve realized that drinking is inherently social and have driven to bring that experience online to engage and converse with the fans of their products.

A few times a year they hold a contest called Be There where they give 1 lucky fan and up to 3 of their friends a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to an amazing destination with a big name concert. Be There Quebec was the fourth and final of these contests that Smirnoff asked us to build. This was built from the ground up using Facebook’s new iFrame tabs that allowed us to ditch the clunky FBML and do everything without needing to redirect to a separate app. We used HTML5, CSS3 @font-face for the fonts and jQuery for all user interaction.
